Deep Tissue Oil works on fever blisters!

My 11 year old son has had a couple of fever blisters (mouth ulcers) in his mouth for a couple of weeks. The pain was so distracting he couldn't concentrate in school. I had him gargle with salt water, but it wasn't working. I resorted to giving him Tylenol because he was in so much pain.

Saturday night the thought occurred to me to put Deep Tissue Oil on it. I knew it wasn't toxic, so I told my son to put a drop of the oil on his finger and rub his finger on the blister. He got immediate pain relief. This reminded me of the clove oil I used to put on my babies' gums to numb them when the tots were teething.

Josh put more DTO on at bedtime and on Sunday when the blister started bothering him. His facial expression was so much happier yesterday than it had been for two weeks. He started singing again.

The most notable thing, though, is that the fever blister has reduced in size about 50% and has completely covered over with a fresh layer of "inside-of-lip tissue." I'm watching it today to see how long it takes for his mouth to completely heal. I'll let you know.

Happy Thanksgiving!
