Tyler,

Is that equal parts by weight or by volume?
I have a big jar full of peppermint leaves and they are bulky but it weighs very little...and yet, if I wet it a little, I'm sure it will shrink in size ALOT... and I imagine the equal parts is still equal with a fresh ginger while the peppermint leaves and fennel seeds are dry?
