Re: Incurables Program, Day 23
Hey Donna,
Sounds like you are feeling alot more positive today than you were last night! Just wanted to share a couple of thoughts with you...
One...you are an incredible woman (just ask anyone on this forum)! Feelings come and go and they are very real...but, God's word is more real than our feelings and it is ok to have a "down" moment (or even day) as long as we go back to His word and let it redirect us. You have already shown such strength, courage, discipline, commitment, etc...and you have been an inspiration to many.
Two...we are each on a journey, as is John, you are not responsible for his down moods (you need to save that energy for your healing). Just pray for him during those difficult times that God would meet his need for encouragement and strength. I think sometimes as wives and mothers, we give everything that we have to taking care of everyone else, when we need to sometimes step back from the situation and nurture and protect our peace.
Three...I was just reading
Dr. Schulze book on Liver/Gall Bladder cleansing this morning...and he says that he does not expect anyone to follow his program "to the letter" (obviously even he doesn't)! That would be legalism anyway and we are under "GRACE" remember? You are doing a great job and I would encourage you to continue with it. Don't try to switch boats in the middle of the stream if you know what I mean..
Last...give yourself time. One doc that I have seen recently for my condition said that you should expect to commit as many months to healing as the number of years that you have been sick. I don't know when your symptoms first appeared, but I have been on a steady decline for the past 15 years! That would mean that I need to give myself that many months to truly be considered recovered according to this doctor. I was also reading in
Dr. Schulze s book this morning that your cells take 4 months to completely renew. So...patience Donna, patience!!
Can't wait to hear your good reports!!
Love and Hugs...Eileen
