Incurables Program, Day 15

Dear ones,

My 23 year old son is coming for a visit today! He just got back from the official "meet the parents" meeting in Seattle- and he passed! We can't wait to hear the news.

Our 21 year old is staying with his girlfriend's parents in Dallas for the 4th and our oldest daughter is staying with her fiance's family over the holiday. My 11 year old is going to another boy's grandfather's house in the country for the weekend to be able to shoot fireworks, catch lizards, and just be boys.

Yesterday John helped me with some step work. I'm trying to get where I can get up one step or curb without any assistance. I felt like a toddler.

I'm going to do the cold sheet treatment tonight unless our son stays late.

Another salad recipe:

Garlic-Basil Summer Salad
Serves 1-2

1/4 bunch fresh spinach, washed and torn
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
1 large or 2 small tomatoes, sliced
1/2 cup frozen peas, rinse off chill
3 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced thin
Basil to taste

Add olive oil and a splash of apple cider vinegar. Sure to keep any vampires away! LOL


I've got to get my house clean today on top of everything else, so gotta run!
