Re: Question: Is it normal to have lower back pain after a flush???

Thanks Ali for your insight. The pain is still there, I have consumed about 24 oz of water since I posted and have not had to go to the restroom yet. The flush went smoothly and I had no problems with the bowel or the bladder emptying and I kept drinking lots of fluids. Friday will be a week from the start of my LC and like I said earlier, no pain until today.

To describe the pain more clearly it is like the feeling you get when you have been bent over all day working in say the garden and when you try to stand you have to put your hand on your back to help stand up straight and the pain radiates in that area. Don't know if this is worth mentioning but I also have a tiny twinge of muscle pain in my arms and calves that wasn't there until today but that has been tolerable.

Hopefully the extra water I am drinking tonight and and the lemonaide I will get down tonight will make tomorrow a better day.

Thanks again for answering, this being my first attempt I wasn't sure if this was normal or not.
