you hit the nail on the head! When someone is fasting they have bad breath as their body detoxifies and releases old toxins. Seems to me you are detoxing!! Especially with your weight loss. Its great news!!!
In the mean time you might like to cover up your breath with cloves. This is my favouite all-time number 1 breath freshener. Just pop a clove in your mouth and keep it there as long as necessary. Do one after every meal.
You also might have a coated tongue upon awakening in the morning (again a sign of detoxing) which also won't help your breath. Make sure to give it a good scrape (I use a toothbrush).
