Re: Diet confusion and need other advice
Sleepygal,
when you start the Primal defense along with the Chlorella, look to make some real good progress. Brain fog is one of the first symptoms to go I promise.
With diet ultimately you have to make your own mind up. The best thing to do is to keep a food/symptom diary. Every time you get a reaction you can look back over your diary and pinpoint the culprit, then eliminate it. You have to play detective. This way anything which is feeding the candida will show up.

food allergy diet, low-carb-high protein
The diet you follow is a candida diet. This incorporates elements of the other diets you mention - i.e. it should be alkalising (Ph balancing), it should be allergy sensitive (i.e. different foods, no gluten), it should be low-carb (carb feeds candida). So don't be confused!
The basic principle of the anti-candida diet is that it should be low in fermentable carbohydrates (grains and starches) and virtually free of all sugars. That's it. That is only thing you have to remember - "low in fermentable carbs".
The easiest way to do this is to eat lots of veggies. This has the additional benefit of supplying lots of fibre - good for keeping you regular (candida loves stagnant bowels). Also vegetables are alkalising, which will help restore your gut's normal flora.
Remember you have brain fog. So keep it simple for now.
