Re: Electronic Itch Stopper - Anyone tried this???

Yes. It will cost you $49.95 plus 7.95 S+H. You get 30 days to try it out for no cost except S+H. I equivocated for the entire 30 days whether to send it back or not and finally kept it. I'm not sure it gets rid of itches, but it certainly does something. If you put it on a wheal for 15-20 seconds it burns like a fiery needle. If you put it on clear skin it just feels warm. My problem was that for a distributed rash, there were hundreds of individual wheals, and I couldn't handle all of them. The idea of stirring up the histamine underneath the skin sounds reasonable. Their literature is not very detailed and specific about how it works. If you log onto their web site www.itchstopper.com you can get a whole bunch on information and testamonials. I'm not done evaluating it yet. They are sending me a replacement power converter under warranty since I broke the wire from constant flexure.
