Re: Fever and miscarriage?

I've had 5 IUI's. My last one was followed by heavy cramping. One week later, I came down with a high fever, and a week after that, I got my period. Hubby says that maybe conception had taken place, and my body saw it as something to be "eliminated", hence the fever. Can anyone give me feedback on this? Thank you.
