Re: Man, if you find out anything, let me know!!!
Well, I've been married for 17 years and have been mostly Type 1 diabetic the whole time. In a man that means problems with impotence, however, in a woman I don't know what that means. But, I can say I'm one of those women you see on Oprah who can count on one hand how many times I've had an cllmax. :(
Because of the diabetes, I say dry and have constant yeast infections. All of this makes sex usually painful. I believe this has a lot to do with the fact that I don't have a libido. Most of my sex is to please my husband. I could live 30 more years and never have another day of sex and I don't think it would bother me. I cry when I say that because I know it is not normal. :(
Anyway I have had two c-sections, and I think that has turned something off in me also.
I got up the nerve to ask my ob-gyn a few months ago about something for libido and she just shrugged her shoulders and kind of said she didn't know of anything. I probably embarrassed her as much as I was embarrassed.
I don't think that what we are experiencing is as rare as Oprah makes it sound. I think the rarity is having an cllmax.
