Weird, Random question about PMS and..um..scents?

This is weird, but a serious question..

My mother has a female hound. Whenever I'm PMS'ing, even before I know it or get my period. That dog knows it. She'll just keep sniffing me over "there". It's annoying, gross and making me a little paranoid now. She does it every month.

I have dogs, including a hound of a different breed. Mine doesn't do it so it's not a "hound" thing.

I've heard of dogs knowing when their owners were pregnant and that sure isn't possible. Any idea what the heck this dog is smelling on me? I don't smell. I'm clean. If it's before my period, she even does it right after I get out of the shower. Maybe something is imbalanced ? What is wrong with me? She doesn't do it to my mother. Then again I'm healthier than my mother with all the cleansing I've done. But what is she smelling?

Well on a lighter note, at least I don't need to mark the calender.
