No, at the time I did not reduce carbs. But over time I have learned that my digestive system was bogged down from eating too much meat and fat. I have cut out all meats except seafood and I limit my fat to a little olive oil (3 tsp/day) or flax oil. I realize now that wheat was slightly irritating to my intestinal system. You might try substituting wheat for brown rice for 3 weeks and see if you notice an improvement in your digestive system. Basically, you need to be moving your bowels at least a couple of times a day. If you aren't, chances are you are backed up by food which is just too much for your system. So, basically, by eating less and better, with an emphasis on stir fried vegis, squash, salads--basically fresh lightly cooked, living foods, you will allow your system to heal. The food grade hydrogen peroxide is a wonderful cleanse for helping to heal your system. By the way, Lee DuBelle has some excellent lectures on tape for understanding the goings on of your body. Most of us don't know the first thing about what is inside of ourselves and how it works.
