Re: candida and anti-fungal drugs

Yep, back in 1995 when I was first diagnosed
(I had oral thrush so my docs 'believed' me
at first) I took Diflucan 150mg/day for 6 weeks.
Did not change my diet, but I felt great! Thrush cleared
and doc took me off- then all my other symptoms
returned with a vengeance.

I've been treating candida naturally ever since, but with ups and downs. I feel great for months and months, then go back to eating junk, then get sick again.

I think those drugs can be helpful to kickstart an anti-candida program, but I wouldn't rely on them completely or stay on them long, as they- like all pharmaceuticals- are terribly harsh on your liver, which has enough to deal with.

Good luck.
