Re: fruit

It is not recommended to eat just fruit if you have candida due to the natural sugars. I dont currently eat any fruit apart from berries which have a low carb and Sugar count.

I have to admit that years ago before I knew I had candida (before diagnosis) I used to go on many fruit cleanses where all I would eat was fruit for weeks. I noticed that my stomach symptoms would actually stop and I would not bloat at all. I would feel fantastic. I would also lose a lot of weight (obviously). I am not game enough to go on these cleanses now I know I have candida in case it causes problems but they did help considerably those many years ago.

If you are going to eat fruit dont eat melons or grapes or any of those fermented types and have lots of vegetables as well. See how each piece of fruit affects you. You may be able to tolerate them well.
