It's my understanding that the western blot has a huge percentage of false negatives. I've not heard of false positives being a problem. I was bit by a tick and given the western blot for many, many years. It always came back negative. My symptoms have said the opposite, and recently I tested positive on the bowen lab test. If you actually had a positive on the western blot, I'd take it seriously. I'd also consider taking bowen and/or the igenx labs tests to confirm and check for co-infections (common infections also transmitted by the same bug that gave you the lyme). I'm going to post a link to an article with various resources for testing, as well as alternative healing of lyme sites.
