I was trying to describe the taste to my husband, who is actually considering doing a Liver Flush (I am so excited), and I said it tastes like someone dissolved an entire bottle of aspirin (jumbo size) in a cup of water, and then added some ear wax for good measure. Hehe. It's so nasty! Yes, apple juice really, really helps.

The grapefruit juice is there to make the OO (Olive-Oil) easier to drink, yep. It breaks up the oiliness and makes it go down much easier. I LOVE the OO/GFJ drink!

By the way, as gross as it tastes, I'm drinking a spoon of ES every morning in a cup of water, as prescribed in The Amazing Liver Cleanse by Andreas Moritz . I'm actually getting used to the taste...
