Confused...

This is my first time on this site and I read almost all 10 pages of the forum looking for help.
My boyfriend got bitten by a tick when he was 3 and treated with Antibiotics . His mother thinks he wasnt treated correctly or for long enough. The test he had done was the lyme titer and he wants to be tested again, whats the best one to do? He has now been suffering for over 15 years. All are lymes symptoms and they get very severe at times. He is not one to go to the Doctor but since Ive met him we have gone to 3 different doctors and no one can help him. His family is into alternative medicine and hes started taking samento just recently. Although the dosage we are not sure about. Does anyone know how much he should start taking? and also can he do the salt or vitC at the same time? If so how much?
