Re: other religions

Dear Jerrikka,

I have read passages in the Qur'an that read as you have described, that non-Muslims are excluded from heaven, and excluded from other privileges extended to believers in Isalm.

But to say that Allah is not loving, is a little bit of a stetch. In the Holy Bible, there are many instances in the Old Testament, and in the prophesys of the New Testament, including in words attested from Jesus himself, where the Judea-Christian God is quite unmerciful. In many religions, God, or, in multi-deity religions, some Gods, are not always kind.

I personally try to focus on the lessons for living from religious Scriptures.

I believe that the MOD warning was meant that we should focus on the parts of the religeon with which we can find agreement in the Support Forums . Posting a non-constructive criticism of a religion on a support forum, is less than supportive.

If you are choosing to reject Isalm, and you are looking for reasons to do so, then you are on the wrong forum. There is a Christian Debate Forum, and I believe a Middle East Debate Forum, and a Spiriuality Forum, on curezone.

Blessings
