I disagree. The media is almost aways wrong about islam. Even when I went to the library to check books about islam they were all written my non-muslims. The all created a different picture about what islam really is. The truth about islam can only be told by a practicing muslim or by islamic books written by practicing muslims.
Some islamic websites are very nice to learn about islam.
