Re: Contact reflex analysis book
Mr. Soup,
I took the local class for Level I - Touch for Health, and, yes, it seemed a bit complicated for a beginner.
However, I did notice a couple of things about it...
...A person does need to practice in order to become familiar with the points and their uses.
...The basic 'zipping up' procedure works (!) even if one doesn't remember much else. It is excellent preparation for any form of muscle-testing, etc.
We were also given the 12 movements, up and down the body, that balance/energize the basic meridians. Once memorized, this can be done very quickly, and it is effective.
When doing impulse stretches and flexes in bed one night, I felt the need to massage a pathway, ankle to shoulder, up my left side. I recognized it as the 'triple-warmer'. I was able to relieve several sore spots.
When experimenting, laid back in a reclining chair, I included wiggling my fingertips while simply 'zipping up', repeatedly, alternating hands about one foot above the body. The energy and excitement I generated was memorable. When I told the instructor about it, she explained that what I was doing was reconnecting the chakras.
All in all, what little I know about self-balancing/energizing seems very effective. Yet I do wonder if it doesn't take two people for more specific understanding and aid.
The Contact Reflex Analysis program is very interesting. Thank you for the link.
