if people had already performed this experiment there would not be ongoing debate on the subject. And there was a very lively debate a few weeks back, with good arguments for both sides, but no clinching facts/experiments.

There is still a camp that believe in fake stones and another that don't believe in them.

This experiment if correctly performed would decide between the two.

I believe it is very valuable and worthwile.
