I do not know if magnesium citrate will stop an attack or not. I use one tablespoon of Epsom Salts in a small glass of water because I know this works and when I am having a gall bladder attack I want some thing that works, and fast !

Maybe some one else has tried magnesium citrate to stop an attack. I have not tried it.
