Wow, what a great handle you have! :)

Ginger is fantastic. Very heating and healing.

Depends on your dosha, but digestive bitters can mean Swedish Bitters, which litereally is made from bitter/astringent herbs, or something more like Chutney and Kim Chee, which has vinegar and heating spice, or Spice Tea, which has heating/carminitive things that have been heat up the body and aid digestive power. :)

Bitters are difficult to prescribe correctly.

I wouldn't recommend swedish bitters usually, especially if someone is weak and debilitated. But if their digestion is good, as in they get really hungry, but still have coated tongue, then it could be just the solution because of how it stirs up toxins and helps the body to get rid of them.
