Doctor says gallbladder turning to mush

The doctor just told my husband that his gallbladder is turning to mush because tests they took on Dec. 22 show the inflammation of the GB hasn't completely cleared up. They are putting fear into him by saying that he should have his GB out because he can't afford to get a stone stuck again and cause pancreatitis a 2nd time(as happened end of Oct). Right at the "V" where the pancreas and gallbladder ducts meet is where they had to stretch it two times, but it appears this area keeps shrinking up and narrowing this opening (other words it won't stay stretched). Even if Epsom Salts dialates the tubes doesn't it look like this might not correct this conditon? Need your opinions, please! My husband is scared now a stone will get stuck if he tries a flush (since this opening keeps narrowing). He is not quite done with his 2nd bottle of GCG. Also been drinking apple juice daily and taking Hydrangea Root. We have phosfood liquid on hand. Have you heard of Oxygen Elements Plus? (liquid) Taking lots of it is supposed to help the body heal. He has been taking that, but not as much as I think he should.
