Re: asthma and smoking

Hi aclays,
I know of two people who became asthmatic within two weeks of quitting smoking and I had a friend who's daughter is asthmatic and says that smoking and being around smokers helps.

I know of other health problems associated with quitting smoking too; Four women (one of them me) who got ulcerative colitis, Three men who had heart attacks, and many others who became ill with an indefinable illness which ranged anywhere from not feeling very well to feeling as if they were going to die. Two of them did die. These were all within two weeks of quitting smoking.

I also know people who got colon cancer after quitting smoking. This took longer though.

A little off topic but I thought you might find it interesting.

Pat.
