GAS BE GONE SIMPLY AND EASILY

I wasn't going to respond to this, but thought I saw this same post repeated in another forum as well, so what the heck...

"So, if your tired of all the misleading information, confusing and conflicting ideas, and downright deception when it comes to needed information about how to finally achieve ultimate healing, here it is. Raw organic vegan food. Pure air. Pure water. Positive outlook. Pure environment. Detoxification.....Simple. Back to the basics...nature."

I certainly agree with what I'll call a "clean living" and "natural nutrition" concept, and such a lifestyle can reduce some/many cases of gas. But as far as "GAS BE GONE SIMPLY AND EASILY" is concerned, I'm not sure how a good diet will end (or even prevent, for that matter) a giardia or blastocystis infection, lactose intolerance, specific food sensitivity , or a pancreatic enzyme or stomach acid insufficiency. All of the above can result in excessive gas. Clean living is great, but it's no substitute for modern clinical diagnosis to determine a root cause which may be pathenogenic. Some pathogens -- organisms which have been with us since the dawn of time even when humans had very natural, healthy diets -- are more than capable of thriving within the gut of someone who practices healthy living. My suggestion for someone with chronic, problematic gas would be to evaluate and improve their diet, but also to consider a possible pathogenic or physiological cause in need of diagnosis. For some folks, correcting the problem is far from "simple" or "easy."
