Re: New here and in need of alot of support - very long
I developed asthma when I was about 31. I have chronic sinus infections and have been on
Antibiotics most every month for over 20 years. I recently have been working with an herbalist to try to keep from having to use
Antibiotics . We have tried the usual herbs they use for people for breathing, the main one is mullein and lobelia. These did not work on me. My body was detoxified and I do feel better, but I have been watching each month what happens with when my breathing gets worse. I have noticed mine may be hormonal. I am just about 46 yrs. old, so we think it may be connected to my hormones. But as the last resort, I did some research and tried collidal silver. I took this by mouth and also put it in a nasal sprayer and sprayed the collidal silver into my sinuses. I stopped using it for a few days, but noticed I felt worse when I stopped using the collidal silver. I was told to try the collidal silver in my nebulizer in the amount I use albuterol inhaler solution. I have not tried this yet, but I am going to. Susan, give the collidal silver a try. But get connected with a Dr. who is experienced in using herbs and uses the medical part too. I did research on my inhalers, I was on serevent, albuterol inhalation solution, singular, and proventil. I tried the advair and had trouble with getting sick in my stomach because of the powder. I found that the abuterol may have sulfuric acid in it if they see fit to use it in it. so I stopped using that and went to flovent because it doesn't have the acid in it from what I read. The proventil has oleic acid in, but that is my rescue inhaler. So I am going to try the collidal silver in my nebulizer. The herbalst told me I am one of the more difficult cases, nothing seems to work in me the way it should. But my immune system was not working for many years on it's own, so it now needs to learn all over to fight infection off. I also used echinecea/golden seal too. And have found that I felt better taking that too. Again I urge you to seek out a Dr. who open to using herbs along with the medical needs too. Those Dr.'s are out there, you have to do some research.
Good luck.
