I reccomend that you have the lap at least to clear up the endo that you already have, this will increase your chances of having children, because if it is left untouched it will continue to grow and increase. Birthcontrol is used mostly to suppress pain and wont get rid of the endo you already have. Plus getting a lap is the only way to find out how bad you have the endo. I am only 20 and I already have intermediate endometriosis, and I couldn't have found that out without the lap. If you don't get the lap there is no guarantee that you will retain your fertility.
