Re: Lupron for Endo and its Side effects
I think I can help you, I recommend warm castor oil
compresses 2-3 times a day and gua sha also helps by
drawing out the unclean blood. Gua sha is a Chinese
treatment which involves scraping to cause bruising.
I was on Lupron for two months (two shots), I quit
because of headaches and anxiety.
I have to say I'm only getting over the side effects
now three years later. It changed me mentally. My hormones
seem to have gotten more like back to normal since
a few periods after I gave birth.
You're probably not in as bad shape as you feel like you
are. The castor oil and gua sha help within a few days,
but I keep getting the endo back, probably because of
my
food intolerances (milk and gluten), my lack of rest
because having a baby is demanding and I feel cold all
the time since I was on Lupron. I have to say, though,
that I finally feel like I'm well on my way to full
recovery. My painful days are not too bad anymore. I'm
also seeing a chinese herbalist which is helping.
Take care! You can do it!
