Thanks for the link. I'll have to post here often enough to keep it on the hot forum board.....

I graduated from a public school, but through their "alternative school" program. I attended daily math and Science classes, but did the rest via contract at home or in the school library. Homeschooling wasn't an option for me as I was a ward of the court in the foster care program.

My son is doing very well and loves that we can keep him challenged. He was very bored with public school, and developed some laziness (still working to overcome that!)
