Re: Concentration Diet
Hello! I am a 25 year old male who was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 18. It slid by unnoticed for all those years because what ever I couldn't pay attention to in class, I always seemed to pick it up on my own later on. Or at the least I would ask someone for help.
One profound realization that struck me, but first an explanation. In school they force you to learn various subjects some to the dismay of those not interested in learning them. People with ADHD, such as myself, do not have a problem concentrating or focusing, the problem resides in that we are being put in a position to learn information that is simply "boring". I am sure you have no problem focusing or concentrating on topics that are exciting to you. It is not that you have problems with concentration, it is just that you are focusing your mind on things that are more relavent or exciting to you. ADD and ADHD are traditionally seen as disorders, but the fact of the matter is, maybe the people who have them are in tune with aspects of life that really matter to them and are more willing to honour them.
With regards to your question - fruit is an excellent choice. I don't see any harm in eating too much.
