Re: What's the least you can drink on the lemonaid diet?
I think you should do as your body tells you. There are so many different types of fasts out there that produce the same results. Ultimately your body is getting a rest and having the opportunity to clean house. What you are doing is simply closer to a
Water Fast than an MC. Big deal? You may find the healing happens quicker that way, in fact. As long as you're not losing energy.
I am a strong advocate for water fasting, and would do it myself if I could afford the time off. I used to work with the Natural Hygene Society who believes only in water fasting, and I've seen many ill people cure themselves of terrible diseases through this means. The catch is that you typically become very weak, and need to rest a lot. I'm training to run a 10K, so I can't afford that loss of energy.
I've chosen
The Master Cleanse because it's low maintenance (little
juicing involved), and it feels right for now. I'm especially doing it because I've had absolutely no energy loss with it. I could have the same with a juice fast, but you have to be able to either make juice regularly throughout the day or have the ability to find fresh juice from a juice joint near you. Bottling up vegetable juice and drinking throughout the day is not as good as bottling lemon juice.
Do what your heart tells you. Wild animals never had a
Master-Cleanse to fall back on when they were sick...they just stopped eating and drank water. Granted we are in different circumstances with pollution, crap food and drugs, etc, but I think nature will do it's job with the good tools you give it.
It's all good.
