Advice Please

Hi:

Does anyone know if ADHD turns into adult bipolar? I saw Anunnauki's advice below about DMAE for ADHD, so I gave some to my husband, who I believe is bipolar. It calms him down quite a bit. Then I read that bipolars should not use it, that it can make mania worse. He doesn't want to go to a psychiatrist, and I really want to find something that would be appropriate.

Any input would be appreciated. I see the bipolar forum is not very active, so I thought there would be more knowledge here.
