Re: Any moms starting today.

Hi fellow "mom"! I make three quarts/day. I work 6 hrs a day, so just before the 3 kids get on the bus, I am leaving, and I get home about the same time they do. I make a quart for "breakfast", bring my lemon juice and maple syrup and cayenne seperately and mix at 1:00 pm, and then at about 6pm make another quart for the evening. I drink water and herbal tea also.

Only a couple days were it was REALLY hard, I mean, for instance, day 3 or so, my son (age 10) took a bit of a blueberry hostess pie thingie and said, I don't like it, well then I proceeded to make the girls try and take a bite to see if they would eat it because I didn't want to throw it away!!!! Silly I know, but in the garbabe it went. Also, when they don't eat hardly any of their dinner, etc. etc. etc. That is how we moms survive, we finish what our kids don't eat, who needs to cook for us too? So, it has been hard throwing stuff away. And the smells of some things get to me. But I am on DAY ELEVEN and I can't believe it. I haven't even licked my fingers while cooking. Have followed the plan very well.

I get urges to EAT stuff, God even lettuce/spinach/ appples/BANANAS!!! look SOOOOO good, I am looking forward to breaking the fast, and eating really healthy. And hope to start to clean up my kid's diet too, as I won't want to keep making all that crappy food for them, but they won't change overnight, that's for sure. Hey, good luck, and the first few days ARE THE HARDEST hang in there, and its ok to be CRABBY once in a while, it will pass...!!! Just GET MORE SLEEP if possible, that helps alot.
