Re: Any substitutes for maple syrup??

Well first thing is I suggest you thoroughly read Stanley Borroughs book " The Master Cleanser " before starting this diet. Now! if you've already read the book then it tells you the substitues..for diabetics the substitute would be Black Strap Molasses and the original formula called for pure cane juice. The Sugar cane juice is very hard to find unless you live in an island or like me just happened to find one of those spanish men that sell fruit from their trucks and juices the Sugar cane right in front of you. so the simplest thing would be the Maple syrup. Why? well once you try the black strap molasses you will be very grateful to have the maple syrup. The maple makes it taste more like lemonade.
