Re: Juice fasting before MC?
GREAT JOB! You're doing so well. Perhaps you can take a cue from your body and decide that way. Are you feeling OK? If you're having cravings, are they for healthy food or not so healthy food?
When I started out at 250 pounds, I wanted to lose it all quickly once I found this incredible way to lose weight and regain my health. But I did best by losing about 20
pounds at a time by either juice fasting or MC, then I would regain 5-8 pounds, and maintain it for a while before trying to lose more.
After 2 short juice fasts (5 days each) a week apart, I maintained a 13 pound loss. Then I heard about the
Master-Cleanse and liver flush. After almost 3 weeks on the program, I lost 25 more pounds, and maintained my weight at 225 for over a month. Unfortunately, after a serious health scare with hubby, I began comfort eating again and put on almost 10 pounds, so I jumped back into an
Master-Cleanse to get it back off. I'm now back down to 220 (after 4 days) and plan a month-long fast in February to get below 200. I'll probably hit about 190, so I'll stay under 200 after the inevitable regain.
One thing I've experienced on the fasting (juice or MC) is that the water weight comes off quickly, then the weight loss slows. Some days I actually go up a pound or stay the same. But if you look at it from the "get healthy" goal, you're still having success. And as you get more healthy, the weight WILL drop.
