Can't tell you what Shroom's concoction is but a good herbalist/acupuncturist in the Gerrard St Chinatown is Dr. Chen on the S side of Gerrard about 1/2 block east of Broadview. I can get the actual address if you're interested.
He's cheap, ($20 for acupuncture) and I was told he's the best--7th son of a 7th son or something like that.
