Re: feeling weak in dream?

there is a theory that says this type of experience is related to the fact that part of us is trying to wake up, but we cannot physically move due to sleep paralysis. so you dream you are trying to do something you don't have the strength to do.
if that isn't the case, and these dreams are true messages from the unconscious i doubt they have to do with self esteem, rather they have something to do with what you are struggling with in life. maybe you are inwardly wrestling with an issue/decision but are not aware of how intense the inner battle is. or maybe your are aware, i don't know.

my guess is that there is mighty unresolved angst you are striving to come to grips with, maybe it is a specific issue or maybe it is just the whole "existential dilemna" type thing we all struggle with.
