I'm glad you posted this and I think it's wise. I'm not coming at it from exactly the same perspective as you (I think), but I thought I had securely put the past behind me. I learned recently that this was not so, and that really upset me at first because "I thought I'd made so much progress"...

Anyway, here's what, from your post resonated for me:
"we can bring love to the situation in the Now, transforming it."

A situation in my life is actually coming to a head today itself, and my decision has been that I need to respond to it with different tools than I did in the past and your words "bringing love into the situation" capture exactly what I hope to do today. It seems the only and best way to do it.
