I don't know if you're still around - but I thought I'd go back to dreams I didn't have time to look at.

I haven't read the responses to your dream yet (not much time) - but the first thing that popped into my head was that you are neglecting something...have you started something new? A new project or 'the birth of a new feeling'? (ahhh....I know you have)I think the dream might be urging you to nurture this new feeling that you're having (I wonder if this new feeling has anything to do with taking responsibility for your self/actions etc?) so that it can grow and be healthy...?

Showering is very positive...cleansing...

Maybe the dream is telling you that you are the one that has to nurture the birth of this new feeling within you - no one else can do it for you (or an 'other' within a relationship won't do it either)..hmmm...
