Seems like this dream could've been an expression of the relationship you were talking about - spiritual battle, in a way.

I relate to what you said about spiritual warfare as opposed to literal warfare. I like the way you worded that.

Can you share one of your links? My interest is piqued about what you said:

I'm not sure what I feel about 'demons'. I mean I believe entities exist at different levels but I guess I don't wholeheartedly believe they have much hold on 'us'. Maybe what others consider demons are negative internal influences but I just call them my shadow side. Point being, I consider them (negative voices,tendencies) all a part of ME as opposed to forces outside of me. Probably all the same thing in the end, just thinking out loud. Elaborate if you like.
