I might have visited your island this morning!
Tracey, WOW! That is the neatest dream! I really get a good feeling from it! I love the blueprint/map underneath your feet and the sea creatures and eggs -how super SUPER amazing!
Any more ideas about it?
I must tell you my vague dream this morning! First I was in an old caravan travelling with my "family". We were gypsies and we were orphaned teenagers, I had an older brother and a younger brother and sister. We were all quite close in age. There was a bunk bed in the caravan, we had masses of fabric, layers and layers of piles of textiles all neatly stashed and many pots and pans hanging above our heads.
We travelled to an island, we were now in a boat, but way up above sea level looking down at the cliff line of the island. We saw masses of friendly sharks frothing up the water and then coming to the surface and then we were grabbing their fins and trying to ride them. The whales began to come, they were ENORMOUS, too big to ride, so we ventured on, climbing the cliff face, smooth ocean rock weathered by the sea, hot from the Sun. Once we climbed over these cliffs and other rocks we came upon a hidden cove with a deep beach set into the cliffs. This place was crazy! It was some kind of sea-world boutique set up on the shore! There were stools set up all around (the kind you sit on!) and on top of each stool was an octopus! There were octopi all over the beach, sitting on stools. They were brilliant colours, iridescent, sparkling in the sun, soft and slippery. From a distance they looked like hats on hat stands.
There was seaweed all around, kelp with big bulbous bubble ends glistening in the Sun! An octopus got on top of my young sister's head, or she thought it was a hat and tried to put it on, but it was suctioned on to her, it covered her whole head, swallowed it up and her voice all muffled and suffocated was pleading for us to help. It was FUNNY though! We were all laughing as I pried it off with a stick.
I don't know what happened after that, we ended up at the "theatre-by-the-sea", but some kind of dispute broke out involving my brothers and we had to leave.
I was really happy to have brothers looking out for me!
That's all I remembered from it, neat eh?
any ideas?
love Alison
