Biobalance 2

I wonder if any one can help me,
I'm trying to research into balancing the ph of the body. According to Robert Young foods are set at a particular ph value. But the way the system assimilates the foods through its various mechanisms is not taken into consideration. I've learnt that the Oxidation system typically produces the reverse of the Autonomic System for Ph food values (which is much closer to Young's ph values).

My questions are:

1)Is it this simple , i.e these two systems produce opposing ph values in all foods and minerals, e.g meat will acidify one system and alkalize the other and calcium will alkalize one and acidify the other. Or is more specific and individualized to particular minerals and food types?

2) Are there any metabolic books that go into more detail than Wolcott's 'Metabolic Type Diet' about how varying foods affect the ph of the body in the different metabolic types, I've seen Rudolf Wiley's book Biobalance 2, but cannot find any information on the internet suggesting that the book will be relevant to me.

I would appreciate any replies.
