Re: Librastar: Re: Beverly

Libra,

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I wanted to sit on this for a little while then revisit it to see if it made more sense. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to fit my expectations (though these could be wrong). She was a very giving, caring person who did some wrong things. In leau of prosecution for embezzeling money, she committed suicide. I was very close to her, and married to her son. Her son and I divorced shortly thereafter and haven't spoken since 1998. The "it's not too late" comment made me chuckle because I am not preening after him... the primary connection between my late mother-in-law and myself. She was a great friend to me though, and I loved her dearly so there may be something I am missing, though I have no clue what it would be.

Beverly's parents spoke Polish at home sometimes, and though she could understand it, she never had enough practice speaking it to be able to speak it effectively. When I first wrote the question, I said "what language," I then changed it to "what spoken language" so that I wouldn't present the 'sign language' riddle that you brought up as a possibility. Sorry that that remained somewhat ambiguous.

I do appreciate your attempt. Perhaps you were right on, but it doesn't feel right to me.

Thanks,

FOY
