Balancing minerals

Recently I have found that adjusting certain minerals in my body has been extremely effective in improving various chronic conditions. I have researched the topic extensively, and find the issue of mineral balance to be most important to long-term health. My concern is that I believe that I may have an imbalance in my copper levels. I am not certain whether I am copper deficient or copper biounavailable. I do not have access to a naturopath who understands this area and am not able to have an intracellular blood test to find out for sure. Can you guide me in what I should be aware of to distinguish the difference between the two imbalances, and what I can to do to correct it?

I was reacting to vitamin C rich foods by having inflammatory break outs in my face and body(mostly on the left side). I have since upped my calcium and these reactions have gone away. But I have also read that low calcium is often indicative of low or unavailable copper, and since I have some vitiligo spots, and more grey hair than I believe I should, I tend to believe that I need some help with my copper.

I also have some mild hypothyroid symptoms and have had a thyroid nodule, also on my left side for the past 15 years. I do not take any medications for these conditions as my endocrinologists have constantly stated that my blood results are 'within normal range' and I don't want to take medication unless I know specifically why and what it will do for me. Perhaps my chronic low calcium has affected my cellular balances, I'm not sure. I am currently on a gluten-free dairy-free diet to help manage celiac disease, and I have had a profound improvement in my digestion and intestinal tract. I no longer experience pain, or bloating after meals.

I have also completed 9 liver flushes and plan to continue until clean.

I have tried to figure out which body type I am, and believe that I am a Pitta-Vata.

Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
