Re: Porphyria?

Eva,

A porphyria attack be brought on by vitamin C supplementation in prone individuals. If you have my book Timeless Secrets of health & Rejuvenation, I have discussed the subject of vitamin supplements and their potential health risks at great length. Taking such supplements can lead to acute vitimin deficiencies that otherwise would not occur. When you take larger vitamin C doses the body recognizes it and throws out existing vitamin C at a higher rate that you can absorb. The problem is that most vitamins have an absorbtion percentage of less than 10 (%). Vitamin C is needed for the production of enzymes that, when undermined, can cause such an attack.
Vitamins also cause a major immune response that intially makes you feel better, clearer and more energized. But in the long-term, this weakens the immune system.

Liver flushes can be helpful for any illness, infectious or non-infectious, since it aids the cleansing of the blood, improves digestive system, and supports eliminative functions.
