Re: Alternative for Aleve, Ibuprofen etc for menstrual cramps

Dear Chetena,

You best shot apart from cleansing your liver is to keep the colon clean. All menstrual problems are preceded by sluggish bowel fucntions, especailly constipation. Irregulrr lifestyle and eating habits upset Vata, the seat of which is in the colon. Vata controls all the hormonal cycles in the body, including the menstrual cycle. If ovulation does not occur on full moon, you can expect menstrual problems. Thus, such a disturbed Vata rhythm causes the menstrual flow to occur at the wrong time of the month. To restore normal cycles, the colon must be healthy. For the colon to be healthy, the liver must be clean. Until you can do liver flushes, I suggest you use something like oxy-powder or colosan (in capsule form)to maintain better elimination. This will also reduce the amount of toxins entering the lymphatic vessels "cysterna chyli" and "thoracic duct" responsible for eliminating the metabolic waste and dead cells from the ovaries and uterus. The most important thing, though, is to take care of your emotional health and not to allow others to victimize you in any way.

Andreas
