Anemia

Hello Andreas,

I am 7 months pregnant, and on my previous Dr's visit at 6 months, my obstetrician said I was slightly anemic. She recommended iron supplements to increase my ferritin level. She also mentioned that it could be dangerous with delivery if my iron levels are too low with the loss of blood. She said if I lose too much blood and my iron level is very low, it would require a blood transfusion. I am hesitant to take iron supplements after reading your previous book, "The Key to Health and Rejuvenation". What are your suggestions/opinions in regards to this?
