Much of what you describe is related to the stomach (organ), including the numbness in the left shoulder. If you have Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation, try to identify those foods that don't harmonize with your body type, I assume they are Pitta-increasining foods. Avoid any stomach irritating foods, such as fish, eggs, meat, cheese, milk!, sour-tasting foods, except some lemon, and of course, processed foods. Don't overeat, and eat very slowly, mastigating food 20-30 times each bite. Drink 1-2 cups of peppermint tea per day, and go to sleep early. Eat your main meal at midday. As your stomach settles, you may start feeling stronger to persue liver flushing.
