Left vs Right

Hi Andreas

This might sound silly to ask, but I wonder how some people are left handed and others right handed;
What is the driving force behind it and why some people have a dominant right side of brain and why majority have dominant left brain side.
Are there any ailments that impact more left handers vs right handers?
